Nice little job completed recently by Kerr Electric. Lots to do for this client including;

☑️ Full domestic rewire
☑️ Outdoor lighting added to front and rear
☑️ All additional sockets now USB type
☑️ Existing shower cable upgraded
☑️ Shower cubicle & tiles taken down to allow shower cable upgrade, and then renewed
☑️ New Alarm system to be installed
☑️ System fully tested and handed over to client

Recent consumer unit upgrade completed for client. But it didnt stop there! We also;
✔️ Re-wired kitchen to suit new kitchen layout
with new LED downlights & undercupboard
strip lighting
✔️ Re-plastered kitchen (Saving the client time
& hassel)
✔️ Installed mains smoke alarms throughout, ✔️ Installed mains CO alarm near gas boiler ✔️ Installed new wireless boiler controls
✔️ Installed powerful new Vent-Axia in-line
bathroom extract fan to help reduce mould
✔️ Security lighting added to the rear and
side of property

Our client wanted us to advice as to whether these old consumer units needed upgraded.
Our advice...absolutely!
Old ceramic re-wirable fuses...Good at the time but that's nearly 40+years ago! Also no additional RCD protection.
We have taken on the job to bring this installation up to meet current 18th Ed wiring regulations.
A full Electrical Installation Condition Report will be carried out to ascertain the integrity of the whole installation and any defects identified and remedied.
This way we will be able to issue the client with an Electrical Installation Certificate which they can provide if ever called upon i.e when selling.
