🇦🇺 From Australia to UCS Group!

On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Edwin Proper to UCS for our Lean By Design Tour, all the way from Australia!

We kicked off the day with a bowl of Irish stew and a chat about Edwin’s trip to Ireland, where he’s been visiting other companies on their own lean journeys and learning how different businesses approach continuous improvement.

Then it was time to get stuck into the factory tour! It was a brilliant opportunity to share our approach to lean, discuss the processes we have in place and exchange ideas on how we can continue to improve. There was plenty of learning from both sides, with great conversations throughout the visit.

One of the most valuable parts of sharing experiences with others is seeing things from a different perspective. Visits like these give us the chance to reflect on what we do, share what we've learned and take away new ideas to put into practice.

A big thank you to Edwin for making the journey to visit us. It was a pleasure having you at UCS, and we hope you enjoyed your time with us!

New windows. New door. Fresh new look. 🏡

For this project, we manufactured and supplied 14 triple-glazed Deceuninck uPVC Windows, finished in Anthracite Grey outside and White inside.

The rear of the property was also completed with a Palladio Giza Composite Door, adding a clean, modern finish to the back of the house.

Installed by A Rate Your Windows IE, using products manufactured and supplied by UCS Design.

A beautiful combination of colour and classic style 🏡

For this project, we manufactured and supplied 5 Deceuninck Sculptured uPVC Windows in Sage Smooth Matt on White, finished with Astragal Bars, along with matching Deceuninck uPVC French Patio Doors.

Sage is a great colour option for customers looking for something a little different, adding a soft, contemporary touch while still working beautifully with the traditional styling of the Sculptured profile and Astragal Bars.

We also supplied a Palladio Palermo Composite Door in Bog Oak on White, bringing another layer of character to the finished look.

Installed by Stafford Installations, this project brings together a great mix of traditional styling and contemporary finishes.

Traditional style, refreshed 🏡

For this project, we manufactured and supplied 11 Deceuninck Sculptured uPVC Windows in Cream on White, complete with Astragal Bars, alongside a matching uPVC French Door for Deans Windows.

The classic styling and Cream finish work beautifully together, giving the property a timeless look while keeping everything consistent across the installation.
