We’re proud to announce that Solarfix has successfully completed and commissioned a new solar PV installation at Affidea Stadium, the iconic home of Rugby 🏉☀️
Installed on the East Stand roof, this 135kWp bespoke solar PV system was designed, delivered and commissioned entirely by our in house teams. We worked closely with Ulster Rugby throughout the project to ensure zero disruption to stadium operations.
✅ Over 1.8 million kWh of clean electricity expected over its lifetime
✅ Significant long term energy cost savings
✅ Around 230,000 kg of CO₂ savings over the system’s life
✅ Supporting Ulster Rugby’s sustainability and CSR objectives

🔧 The Role:

-Install solar PV panels on tile, slate, metal & flat roofs
-Work as part of a 3-person installation team

-Travel to sites across Northern Ireland (company van provided)

✅ What You’ll Need:

-2+ years’ solar installation experience
-Comfortable working at height with strong H&S awareness
-Full, clean UK driving licence

-Strong teamwork & positive attitude

-MWEP, PASMA, Telehandler or Working at Heights qualifications
-Domestic installation experience
