We would like to thank Niall and his team @ Budore Grounds Services for the great work he’s been doing over the past few months to improve Parkview. This was taken today after vertidraining and it’s the best the pitch has looked going into November.

As a club, we’re working hard both on and off the pitch to build for the future — improving our facilities, supporting our teams, and pushing Ballynure Old Boys forward. 4 pass scarification underway… collection tomorrow… aerate,overseed, top dress and fertilise next week. Mid-season and just a 2 week window until the pitch opens again - 🙏🏻 for good weather.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do as a Groundsman / Contractor is … do nothing. Always second guessing yourself re: weather, forecasting temperatures, assessing ground conditions. Just the very basics this week to get this pitch open and ready for play today… nothing too ‘technical’ 😏😁
