🚧 We’re Hiring – Groundworks Foreman 🚧

Primo Civils are looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join our expanding team on projects across Northern Ireland.

Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead and supervise site team of groundworkers and plant operators
🔹 Coordinate tasks including drainage, foundations, kerbing, utilities, paving, and site prep
🔹 Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
🔹 Manage plant, labour, and materials on site
🔹 Liaise with site managers, engineers, and contractors
🔹 Maintain quality standards and project timelines
🔹 Provide clear daily reports and updates

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Proven experience in groundworks / civils supervision
✅ Strong leadership and communication skills
✅ Ability to read and interpret site drawings
✅ CSCS card (supervisory), SSSTS/SMSTS desirable
✅ Driving licence essential

Location: Various sites across Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Rates: Competitive pay – based on experience and tickets

What We’re Looking For:

✅360 Excavator Operator:
• CPCS or NPORS (10T+ preferred)
• Confident operating in tight-access and live sites
• Experience with trenching, grading, foundations and lifting ops
• Knowledge of safe dig practices around services

✅Groundworker:
• Skilled in drainage, ducting, kerbing, concrete, and reinstatement
• Ability to read site drawings and work as part of a team
• CSCS card required
• Forward-thinking, safety-aware, and takes pride in their work

Our Hitachi U26 mini digger was stolen overnight from a secure site in Saint Bridget’s National School, Trim, Co. Meath, Ireland

This is a vital part of our business, and we’re urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or been offered similar machinery to get in touch.

📍 Details:
• Model: Hitachi U26-6
• Colour: Orange/Black
• Distinguishing features: Window Tints and KD Plant Stickers
• Approx. time of theft: Anytime between 25/07/2025 17.00 Friday and 28/07/2025 06.30 Monday
