🚪 A new door in Belfast ✨

We’ve recently completed this door installation for a customer who wanted to replace their old wooden door with something that brought a bit more character to the entrance.

They chose the Apeer DMR2 traditional style door, finished in Traffic Yellow on the outside and White on the inside.
We absolutely love the Traffic Yellow. 💛 It works brilliantly with the traditional style of the door and gives the entrance a real splash of colour.

The door and sidelights have also been fitted with colourful leaded, stained glass. When the sun shines through, the glass brings those bright colours into the hallway, which is a lovely detail that you don’t fully appreciate from the outside.
For the hardware, the customer chose a locking escutcheon in place of a lever handle, along with a chrome letterbox to finish everything off.

A traditional style door, some colourful stained glass and a very good choice of yellow. We’re rather pleased with this one. 😄

☀️ Some doors are designed to blend in. This one clearly missed that memo.

Our customer wanted to replace their old timber windows and door with something more secure and energy efficient, while adding a bit of personality to the front of their home. Safe to say this Traffic Yellow composite door understood the assignment 🚪

The new 70mm solid panel composite door was finished with white frames, a chrome letterbox, chrome lever handles and a beautiful bumblebee knocker that feels right at home on this bold colour choice. A clear curved fanlight above the door allows natural light into the entrance hall while keeping the traditional character of the property.

To complete the transformation, we replaced all existing windows with new white uPVC frames fitted with toughened Low E, argon gas filled double glazing. The result is a warmer, more secure home with reduced heat loss and a fresh new look that will stand the test of time 🪟

The only problem now is making sure visitors actually use the knocker instead of standing there admiring it. 🐝🏡

This local nursery school came to us looking to replace an old entrance door with something more secure and practical for everyday use.

The solution was this new white uPVC door, complete with an overhead closer to ensure the door closes gently behind staff, parents, and visitors throughout the day.

As well as improving security, the large glazed panel provides a clear view of anyone arriving at the entrance before opening the door. The new installation has also improved the thermal efficiency of the building, helping to eliminate leaks and draughts from the old door.

🌟 This customer in Bangor came to us looking to replace an old wooden door that had definitely seen better days 😅

After choosing this traditional style composite door from the Palladio Door Collection, the front of the property has been completely transformed. The door features a beautiful stained glass design which adds plenty of character while still allowing natural light into the hallway 🪟

The outside was finished in red with a white interior and white frames to match the existing windows perfectly. To complete the look, we added a gold lever handle and matching gold letterbox 👌

Not only does this new composite door look the part, it also provides improved security, better insulation, and increased energy efficiency compared to the old timber door it replaced. No more drafts, rattles, or needing to shoulder charge the door closed on windy days 😂
