Post for after nesting season!!!! Don't panic.

Hello all how is the sun burn and ice cream?

Scary word time " September" the September section of the diary is now open as we have had the question asked about clearing gorse and brambles with a flail already and jobs are booked.

Regular clients are aware when the nesting season ends we get busy. Please don't leave it until august/September to ask the question regarding scrub clearance and tractor and flail hedge cutting.

Give me a call ASAP to secure your spot.
Even in September I will walk the site to look for late nesting birds.

Another day of pollarding ash with dieback. Wind just making the branch give a little pinch on the saw.

Ash dieback is showing no sign of ending. We are pollarding any trees with life in them to a safe height and removing any that are stone dead.

If a tree can be saved it should be given a chance, this is what arboriculture is about! preservation where possible!!!!

Ash trees should not be left until they are less than 50% leaf cover compared to how they had been previous years when they were healthy. Beyond 50% foliage loss, the chances of pollarding an Ash and preserving the tree is greatly reduced!!

Part-time/ casual worker wanted.

Genral basic tasks like hedge cutting help to feed chipper, helping to tidy up. May progress into skilled tasks with training for the right person.

Must be reliable and you must have a good awareness of what's going around you.
Must be able to get yourself to work.

New toy to the fleet, a post driver. It's nothing fancy, but it sure gets the job done. Fencing enquiries are welcome.

I do not want to be the next big contractor, but I am happy to work locally where needed. Any paying customer welcome.

Hello all, what cracking weather.

Current availability, we are busy! The current wait time is around 8 weeks. We are turning jobs over as fast as possible.
I feel privileged to say consistent calls are coming through and keeping us busy.

Conifer trimming and removal, as well as tree care and tractor works, are all welcome. As always, some jobs where required are subject to nesting bird inspection by our staff. Active nest present, you have to wait!

If these fuel prices keep going up I am going to go back to horse and kart! Then ill buy some pigs and goats to eat the branches and green waste. The days of the van and chipper will be over if they keep up this daylight robbery.

Hedge and shrub removal done recently to extend a driveway and let more light into the property.

The home owner wanted to keep all the wood and the chip.

Availability, there is rare word indeed.

I have availability at the end of April for arboricultural works and hedge maintenance, (all subject to nesting bird inspection) of course!!

I also have availability for feild drain clearing with a digger, and field mowing/ topping with the tractor to freshen up the grass for horses/grazing. (5ft or 9ft mower)

Rotavator on a small tractor is also available.

As always the big tractor and trailer is available for other tree companies to have wood chip removed from site. All supplied with driver.
