Completed Project – Cake Décor Laboratory & Meeting Room Electrical Refurbishment

Another successful project completed, delivered within a tight turnaround window that required full team coordination from start to finish.

The works involved modernising the essential laboratory — the technical heartbeat of the facility — along with repurposing existing storage areas into a high-specification meeting suite designed for senior management and client presentations.

Our electrical works included LED feature lighting, general power installations, power supplies for appliances, and bespoke decorative lighting to help create a modern and functional environment throughout the space.

Meet the Team – Siobhan Gracie, Office Manager

Siobhan has been with us for nearly six years and during that time has become a vital part of the company. Her dedication, organisation, and ability to manage multiple roles within the office have made her an invaluable member of the team.

Her responsibilities include administrative management, purchasing, and providing support to both the estimating and contracts departments, helping projects run smoothly from start to completion. Siobhan’s attention to detail and commitment ensure the day-to-day operations of the business continue efficiently and professionally.

Recently, Siobhan has signed up to complete her SVQ in Office Management as part of her continued professional development. We are proud to support Siobhan in gaining the qualifications and credentials required to successfully complete the course and further develop her skills within the company.

Intelligent Electrical Solutions are delighted to have completed the electrical installation at the newly opened The Bonnie Iconinc Student Accommodation in Glasgow . ☑️

Situated on Sauchiehall Street in Finnieston, this project saw the transformation of the former Lorne Hotel — combining the refurbishment of a listed Victorian building with a 1960s extension — to create 151 studio apartments and a range of modern amenities.

This was a complex project that highlights the hard work, expertise, and commitment of everyone involved from start to finish.

Great work by the Intelligent team in successfully delivering one of our biggest projects to date 👏

We’re pleased to introduce Josh Murdoch, a valued member of our estimating team at Intelligent Electrical Solutions.

With over 8 years of experience in the electrical industry—and 6 years as part of the Intelligent team—Josh brings a strong mix of hands-on knowledge and technical understanding to his role.

Starting out on the tools, Josh has developed a solid practical foundation, which now supports his work in estimating. His ability to understand project requirements from both a technical and delivery perspective allows him to produce accurate, reliable costings.

Josh continues to grow within the estimating department and plays a key role in supporting the successful planning and delivery of our projects.
