All our products are designed by us and manufactured by us. We design, manufacture, supply and install, our bespoke cast aluminium structures, of which the most popular by far is the verandah - widely appreciated for its many and varied uses. The modular system is so versatile that it lends itself to other structures equally well so that in addition to verandahs, we also supply porches, canopies, gazebos, pergolas, carports and walkways, as well as regulation-compliant smoking shelters, for public and commercial premises. Some projects are particularly rewarding to revisit.

When we completed this verandah at the end of last year, the wider landscaping works were still underway. Now, with the planting beginning to establish and the garden coming into its own, the transformation is remarkable.

Our client recently sent us this photograph along with the following message:

"With the recent good weather, we've really appreciated the verandah that you installed late last year. The rest of the landscaping work finished off through the winter and the planting is finally starting to bed in. So we're using the space for everything from morning ice bath to evening drinks and hot-tub!!
I think this picture sums it up nicely - it almost looks AI-generated and can't believe it's our home! So thanks again to you and all the team for the planning, delivery and installation work."

Today is World Environment Day 🌍

As a company rooted in outdoor living, gardens and nature, sustainability is something we continue to consider carefully across both our products and our day-to-day operations.

Over the years, we’ve introduced a number of changes to help reduce waste, improve efficiency and lessen environmental impact, including:
• Installing full LED lighting throughout our workshops
• Using energy-efficient heaters with smart thermostats
• Applying the “7 wastes” framework to improve production efficiency and reduce unnecessary waste
• Cleaning and re-using old verandah parts wherever possible, or recycling them at the end of their life
• Re-using packaging materials before recycling them
• Working exclusively with UK companies to reduce transport miles and associated greenhouse gas emissions

For us, sustainability is about continual improvement and making thoughtful choices wherever we can.

This is one of the most rewarding times of year in the garden.

With warmer days and longer evenings now here, it’s the perfect season to start growing your own vegetables, herbs and salad crops. Tomatoes, courgettes, runner beans, beetroot, lettuce and fresh herbs can all be planted now, bringing colour, scent and the anticipation of summer harvesting.

A verandah can also become an incredibly useful gardening space at this time of year. It provides the ideal environment for hardening off tender seedlings before they are planted into the garden protecting them from heavy rain, harsh winds and cooler overnight temperatures, while still allowing them to gradually adapt to outdoor conditions.

There’s something wonderfully grounding about stepping outside each morning to check on young plants, notice new growth and watch the garden evolve through the season.

The sound of food sizzling, glasses clinking and conversations carrying into the evening air… all made even better with the comfort of shelter overhead.

This installation, completed in partnership with Cedar Nursery - Plants and Outdoor Living , was inspired by the 2023 Silver Gilt award-winning Savills Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, a space where outdoor kitchens and “plot-to-plate” gardening took centre stage.

Featuring a beautifully crafted outdoor kitchen by VLAZE beneath one of our verandahs, the space perfectly captures the joy of cooking, dining and gathering outdoors.

A garden designed not just to be looked at, but truly lived in.

For those looking to explore our work in person, our 2023 Chelsea Flower Show verandah is available to view at Cedar Nursery - Plants and Outdoor Living in Cobham.

Originally created for the Silver Gilt award-winning Savills Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, the structure now sits within Cedar Nursery’s inspiring outdoor living setting, surrounded by planting, garden furniture and beautifully designed outdoor spaces.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience the scale, detailing and craftsmanship of one of our verandahs up close, while also gathering ideas and inspiration for your own garden.

We’ve loved working alongside the team at Cedar Nursery and are proud to have our structure displayed as part of their outdoor living environment.
