Removing pigeon fouling and nesting material may not be everyone's cup of tea, I strangely find this kind of work very satisfying!

I recently undertook these cleaning works on behalf of a local housing association that were replacing the existing solar panels.

All bird fouling/nesting material was cleared from the solar panel fixings, roof and gutters and thoroughly treated with a biocide to remove any harmful pathogens - This will allow the contractors to work in a safe environment.

It's taken a few weeks... Rats had over run this grain store. The rat activity has now been massively reduced. I've used a combination of the following to achieve the results:

✅ Cutting back overgrown folliage around the external perimeter of the grain store.
✅ Proofing obvious rodent entry points.
✅ Placing snap traps throughout all internal areas where required.
✅ Intensive rodenticide treatment externally and within any active rat burrows.
✅ Removing any rodent harbourages, such as items placed against the buildings that attract vermin activity.

Undertaking the above (with the help of the farmer) has meant that non toxic monitoring bait points are now in place for on going pest management.

I look after many farms, they can be challenging! With the help of the customers there's always a way to achieve satisfactory results. 🙏

Happy Monday all! Rats: It's not always an infestation as such - This fairly new residential development is spotless, but with wildlife areas incorporated within this build, will inevitably lead to rat sightings. The margins are often fine, I have decided to undertake a treatment programme on this occasion. 👍
