Third time lucky!
This garden house in North West London had been "waterproofed" twice before at considerable cost to the property owner. There was no ground water sump system; the previous contractor had connected the drainage into the foul sump system and the floor slab was approximately 30mm of out level. AP Gooch were tasked to provide 2 forms of internal waterproofing to provide a robust waterproofing system. It's important to use the right contractor the first time !

Cavity drainage membrane system installed on this basement project in W6. The basement walls were rendered to provide a flat substrate for the waterproofing and finishes. Pre-treated timber battens will be fixed into the membrane fixings to accommodate plywood and plasterboard wall linings.

As with all trades the quality of work is really shown in the details; and we are proud to be among the best in the business when it comes to basement waterproofing. This project in Highbury has been completed to our usual high standards to protect this basement which has been subject to water ingress for several years.

Back to this project in Cockfosters to seal the service pe*******ons using Newton Stopaq which is installed around the pe*******on, then pointed in using repair mortar to retain the Stopaq which swells when by contact with water. Excellent installation by our team and the beautiful taping up; as usual.

Edincare foul water and Delta Membranes ground water pumping systems cleaned out, pumps installed, discharge pipework connected, electrical connections and alarms installed. Final commission undertaken and hand over to the client.

A.P Gooch will return in 12 months to undertake the servicing of the systems.

Waterproofing to the swimming pool structure on this project in Hampstead (NW3) using Wykamol waterproofing products. Modular drainage was installed by the contractor which drains any water ingress behind the waterproofing into our sump system.
