This boiler was marked as AT RISK during a gas safety inspection due to the lower plastic casing covering the electrics needing to be taped on and because of the age of the boiler (25-30 years) the parts required are discontinued so the landlord bit the bullet and decided it’s time to upgrade. Not only was the boiler upgraded but the Programmer, cylinder stat, pump, mid position valve and wall thermostat. All of this was completed in a day meaning the tenant didn’t have endure a cold night which made them happy, they’ll be even happier when they see their next gas bill 📉.

This system has been converted from a gravity fed boiler and hot water cylinder to combi boiler relocated in the customers loft. The upstairs and downstairs have been split into two zones, top floor utilising the existing radiators and the ground floor ready for new the underfloor heating. The existing wireless thermostat was reinstalled for the customers comfort untill the underfloor heating is fitted when new smart controls will be installed. As always Vaillant’s own advanced magnetic filter was installed to offer a 10 year warranty.
