European oak shoe cupboard commissioned by, and designed in conjunction with Brian and .gowthorpe who put a lot of effort into restoring the hallway back to better-than-original-condition. They were looking for a piece to, both hold their shoes and complete the design.

I’ve always wanted to do a traditional built in loft bed. This one is very UNtraditional as it was going into a rented accommodation. Therefore it needed to be freestanding (e.g. not fixed to the walls) and fully disassemblable. Major features include: double bed upstairs with side table, bookshelf staircase, L shaped desk with underslung storage. This was a real challenge in terms of design and engineering. Great solution if you want to double the space in a small room!

The next series of projects came to us via Liz . This one started out as a vintage church noticeboard that we stripped back to nothing. The only elements that ended up surviving were the glass door frames and the top bar. As you can see, it’s evolved into a lime waxed meranti headboard with built in side tables!

Fully restored door on the quay walls in . As you can see the door was in particularly poor condition. So much so, a lot of people would have considered having a new door made. These beautiful old solid timber doors can have damaged elements replaced and with some tlc they can be brought back to their original condition at half the price of a new door.

The great thing about wooden countertops is that no matter how badly they’ve been abused, they can be restored. These ones were in a particularly bad shape, as you can see in one of the photos. We polished these up with a sander connected to a hoover to minimise the dust in clients home and then put three coats of varnish for a bulletproof mirror finish.

This was a complete tear-out and fresh kitchen install for an air bnb in . We added a new sub-floor as the old floor underneath was in a really bad condition. This install included 7 appliances. Customer was really happy with this one and so were we!

This was a part of a larger remodelling project in a printworks. We pulled out large sections of very old pitch pine flooring. After a lot of planing and sanding we came out with boards with built in character. A few bits of hardware, some chin scratching, a pinch of ingenuity and voila!

Here is one of a few recent projects I’ve done for - always a pleasure. A bespoke elevated bed with ample storage underneath and pull out steps. Leather handles made out of an old belt. Given it was a very tight space we wanted to avoid rigid handles where people would bump their knees when walking past.
