🔧 Seat Panel Replacement – Premium Nappa Leather

Another vehicle interior repaired here at Leather Solutions Yorkshire.

This seat came in with damage to the side bolster panel — a common wear point due to constant entry and exit from the vehicle. Instead of replacing the entire seat cover, we carried out a precision panel replacement, restoring the seat while keeping the original factory design.

For this repair we supplied premium Nappa leather and Nappa perforated leather, carefully colour matching the original interior to achieve a seamless finish.

Our process involved:
✂️ Removing the seat cover
📏 Using the existing panels as templates
🪡 Precision cutting and sewing the new leather sections
🔧 Reassembling and refitting the cover back onto the seat

The result is a factory-style repair that saves the customer the cost of a full seat replacement while maintaining the original look of the interior.

Another stunning project completed by the team at Leather Solutions Yorkshire. This classic Chesterfield has been given a full re-cover, combining timeless craftsmanship with a bold, modern twist.

We carefully stripped the sofa back to its frame, repaired and strengthened the structure, and supplied new high-quality fillings and support materials to restore comfort and shape. The sofa was then reupholstered in premium leather, finished with hand-set studs and paired with bespoke statement cushions to create a truly unique centrepiece.

From 7 years old… to running a thriving luxury leather business.

These photos mean everything to me.
This is where it all started.

At just 7 years old, I was coming into the workshop after school and on weekends to help my dad. While other kids were playing, I was learning how to clean, restore, repair and respect leather. I didn’t realise it at the time, but those early days built the foundations for everything I have today.

As soon as I left school, I went straight into upholstery full time. No shortcuts. No easy route. Just hard work, long hours and a passion for craftsmanship.

Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to say I now run Leather Solutions Yorkshire — a family business that has grown into a thriving luxury upholstery and leather restoration company.
We’ve built a professional team of skilled upholsterers and sewers, working on everything from exotic cars and high-end interiors to bespoke furniture and full leather restorations.

Over the years, people have even nicknamed me “The Leather Tycoon” — and while that makes me smile, I’ll never forget where it started… a young lad in an apron, learning from his dad.
