Todays client acquired the unwanted pigeon problem - proofing done previously, which had failed miserably. Possibly the worst build up of guano and mess we have had to deal with - the photos don’t do it justice! 10 years worth of pigeon activity to battle with!

‘We can’t even sit in the garden!’ 🐦💩

Today’s client became fed up of being unable to enjoy sitting / eating in the garden, with a full guano clean up of the garden furniture and patio area required every single day!

Purpose made fixtures and fittings installed to the solar panels, permanently restricting feral pigeon access to the warm void beneath. ProBird5 spikes also installed, to prevent perching on the ridge tiles. The garden will now become a place to enjoy sitting as summer approaches!

A bit of creativity needed on today’s solar panel bird proofing job!
For whatever reason, the installers of the solar panels left a perfect gap in between the top and bottom set of panels, creating the perfect entry / exit point for opportunist feral pigeons.
The usual slurry of guano, eggs and nesting materials filling the gutters and roof to contend with.

Use of purpose made materials however, has restricted bird access to the solar panels, with complimenting ridge tile spikes installed to really give the pigeons the message that they aren’t welcome!

☀️☀️☀️☀️Unfortunately for the client, the bird proofing, in which they had paid extra for at the time of solar panel installation (less than a year ago) had completely failed!
8 adult, feral pigeons were humanely removed from beneath the panels yesterday along with a years build of nesting materials, guano and mess!
Purpose made, premium quality fixtures and fittings have now been installed, with a reassuring 10 year guarantee!

Chilly on the coast this morning 🥶

Pigeons have been using the warm and cozy void beneath both sets of solar panels as their home (and toilet) at this bungalow for a number of years.

All nesting debris removed from beneath the panels, before future proofing both sets to ensure pigeons will not be able to get beneath them again.
