FRIDAY UPDATE!

Well, midweek came and went before I had chance to catch up, so let's make this a Friday update instead! 😁

It's been a really productive week here at Severn Fibreglass Ltd, with plenty of jobs completed, packed up and heading out the door.

This week's completed work includes:

🔹 2 x Worcester door surrounds
🔹 2 x Apley over-door canopies
🔹 1 x Gloucester door surround
🔹 1 x bespoke Tewkesbury door surround

All completed and sent out with our courier this week. Another batch safely on its way to their new homes!

The Instant Pond is also taking good shape and is now ready to start being glassed. Alongside that, a named planter and 2 x bog filters are nearing completion and should be heading out next week.

Looking ahead, we've got plenty more lined up. A bog filter with blade is coming into production, along with an order for our regular doors and windows company and a Slim Bourbon dart surround, which is due to be heading out next Friday.

And, if the forecast is anything to go by, next week looks like a dry one (for now, anyway! 🤞), which means we've got roofs galore lined up!

Never a dull moment around here, that's for sure! 🙃

📢 The midweek update… has turned into a Thursday update! 😂

That probably says it all about the week we’ve had here at Severn Fibreglass Ltd!

It’s been a busy one around the unit, with plenty going on and lots of orders keeping us on our toes.

🚚 Our trusted courier is coming to collect orders, ready to be delivered within 48 hours.

🏡 Upstairs, we’ve got a 1400 Kempsey overdoor canopy in production, along with Type C pilasters galore!

🔧 We’ve also got Apley 1300 & 1730 overdoor canopies in production and waiting for trimming, plus columns and a new overdoor canopy waiting their turn.

🐟 Downstairs, we’ve got an Instant Pond in production, with 2 x bog filters about to come in!

The new mezzanine floor has certainly given us some extra space, but with all these orders, we’re starting to wonder…

🤔 Is it going to be enough, or are we going to fill that up as well?! 😂

We’re certainly not complaining — it’s great to be busy! A big thank you to all our customers for keeping us on our toes and keeping the orders coming in. We really do appreciate it! ❤️

🌞 Wednesday is upon us again… Happy Hump Day! 😁

Another busy week is underway at Severn Fibreglass Ltd, and we’ve had to split into two teams for the remainder of this week to keep up with the workload at the unit while also working through our roofing jobs!

👷‍♂️ Alex and Steve are out on site, whilst Ben is holding the fort at the unit.

🏡 One thing that’s becoming a real theme with the orders coming in at the moment is that people are clearly thinking about the fronts of their houses! Our shop floor is gradually being taken over by Kempsey and Apley overdoor canopies in all sorts of sizes!

Meanwhile, there’s plenty more going on behind the scenes…

🐟 The timber for two ponds currently in production has been cut and is ready to go.

🚪 We’re finishing an order for one of our regular door and window companies.

🏠 We’ve also had orders come in for two of our Worcester door surrounds, two bog filters and a large bespoke canopy complete with columns!

As always, there’s plenty to keep us busy, and the team are working hard to keep everything moving in the right direction. 💪

Let’s crack on with the rest of the week and see just how much we can get done!

🙌 Teamwork makes it happen!

A little behind the scenes at Severn Fibreglass 👀✨

It’s Friday, so we’ll skip the usual “it’s been a busy week” update and get straight to what we’ve been up to! 😁

There’s plenty going on around here, with a roofing project nearing completion, a Gloucester door surround heading out for delivery today and a Worcester ready to be collected on Monday.

We’ve also sent out an order for one of our doors and window customers, along with two Bourbon dart surrounds for an interior designer and a 1200 Kempsey over door canopy was out the door on Wednesday!

And there’s plenty more in the pipeline, with two ponds coming into production:
🩶 A Victoria in Anthracite Grey
🤍 An Instant Pond in Light Ivory, with black interior and capping

We’re also getting started on a Tewkesbury with Type C pilasters in Oyster White, as well as a named planter.

It’s definitely go, go, go here at Severn Fibreglass, but then again, the boss would keep us busy even if there wasn’t a thing to do! 😂

We wouldn’t have it any other way! 💪
