We are thrilled to announce that our labour of love, the restoration of the Gingerbread House in Chiddingstone, has been recognized with an award from the Civic Trust Awards! This accolade highlights our commitment to preserving the intricate beauty of seventeenth-century architecture.

Our project focused on the delicate art of pargeting, reviving the façade’s exquisite scraffito work that dates back to 1697. The restoration was a journey of uncovering hidden details and symbols, connecting us to the building’s storied past.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in bringing the Gingerbread House back to its former glory. This award is a testament to the skill, dedication, and passion for heritage conservation.

C&D have been appointed to construct a stone plinth to external walls using Random Sussex stone walling and pointed in a traditional lime mortar

We are pleased to announce that C&D Restoration Ltd has been appointed as a specialist subcontractor to carry out the restoration & heritage works to this historic grade 1 listed building

Our works to each elevation include Doff superheated cleaning, TORC cleaning, Flint & Ragstone repairs and replacement, stone pointing by our experience team.
