Hallway/Stairs and landing, started today in Biddulph ive Removed the left side render, upto 1 metter due to damp and salt ingress. Ive treated it with a salt neutraliser and will be replacing it with a dryzone render, 20mm off the floor. It will be fully skimmed aswell.

Probably one of the freakiest plastering jobs I’ve ever done 😅

This was inside a funeral directors mortuary. Safe to say it wasn’t the most pleasant place to spend a day working. The atmosphere in there was something else… especially once the walls and ceilings were opened up. Felt like a scene from a psychological thriller at times. 🕯️

That said, a job’s a job, and I’m really pleased with how it turned out in the end. Lots of damaged areas, awkward repairs, overhead patching and uneven surfaces to bring back to life, but we got there 💪
