Disley Nursery Extension and alterations - Update
We finally have Planning and Conservation approval - after 39 weeks !!!!
Planning registered 2 Jan
Lots of chasing, emails phone calls - silence .................
Then finally contact and consultation commenced mid June - 23 weeks in .
The Nursery operates from a Locally listed former Chapel, which has been extended in the 70's and converted to a nursery on 2005.
1st of October Approval.
The proposals will create more operational space and Nursery places.
Now its onward and upward with Stage 4 drawings and site works.

We have submitted an application to Cheshire East for an extension to the Blue Grass Purple Cow nursery which has now been registered with the planners and is progressing.

The proposal will remove a dilapidated former school house and replace this with an extension to the current nursery to provide additional teaching accomodation and staff space, a small office, ancillary space and a new entrance. This will allow the nursery to increase pupil places at the nursery and improve the existing teaching space at the rear.

The proposals will not affect the teaching space to the front of the nursery which is wihin a former Methodist Church

The proposals will also improve the garden space to the side of the nursery which provides secure play space for the children .... a few images below.

We have moved office, downsizing to smaller premises.
A month of moving furniture and boxes, and getting rid of things that did not fit into smaller space.
Keys handed back to the landlord.
IT now sorted in our new premises.

Still in Biddulph but with a nice woodland view instead of busses driving by. Winter sun shining through the windows [new blind on order].
