There is always times in business that it gets busy and sometimes you come across a job that you are not 100% sure on, today because of being busy I used THB Civil Solutions to do a small job for me that I didnt have time to do. When the customer hes been working at gives me feedback like this, I know ive picked the correct subcontractor. Thankyou Toby, at Tis Groundworks we try our best to be as pleasant to our customers and as hard working as possible and im glad you met our standard when it came to that. Thankyou once again.

🚨 Important Update for All Clients 🚨

Due to a recent last-minute cancellation that led to a significant financial loss, we’ve had to make some changes to how we operate.

👉 Going forward, a 25% cancellation fee will apply to any booked landscaping or groundworks job that is cancelled without proper notice.
👉 A 50% deposit will also now be required before we order materials or start any work on site.

These steps are necessary to cover the upfront costs of materials like aggregates, timber, and paving, and to protect the time and labour we commit to each project.

With the sun beginning to shine lots of potential customers have been getting in contact for me give them free non obligational consultations for either patios or complete garden overhauls. This weekend was an installation of an Indian sandstone patio with resin jointing at the bottom of the garden under a tree for shade in what will be the hot summer evenings. Customer was over the moon to say the least.

Haven't posted much yet this year, but in the background been in talks with planning permission, building regs and designers for a project that's coming up. This weekend however I have been out on the tools, post to follow!!

What a weekend it's been, 20m² Raj Green sandstone patio installed for a customer. Don't those slabs pop with colour when they are wet and even the pastel effect looks amazing when dry. Big thankyou to Nick Ager Haulage for supplying sand, cement and stone and Natural Paving Store. for supplying the slabs and adhesive! Another happy customer!

The last couple weeks ive been doing a nice little job for a local customer, foundations poured, learning more about blockwork then on to stoning up and damp proofing, ready for the concrete pour on this 31.5m² base done today. Massive thanks to JT Concrete and AR Complete Concrete Pumping for their services today to make sure the right amount was poured with zero wastage.
