A recently completed job in Barnstaple 👇

This bespoke staircase was crafted from beautiful Ash, showcasing its light tone and striking natural grain. We paired it with a sleek glass balustrade to maintain a clean, modern aesthetic while allowing light to flow effortlessly through the space.

To finish the project, we added a fully painted, built-in under stair cupboard - a smart way to maximise hidden storage without compromising on style.

We are a well-established, family-run joinery company based in Bideford, proudly trading for over 50 years. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Painter to join our dedicated and skilled team.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 / 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
You will be primarily responsible for painting and finishing a range of high-quality joinery products, including:
• Doors and windows
• Staircases
• Bespoke furniture units
• Trims and mouldings

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀
• 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays)
• Competitive salary, dependent on experience
• Company pension

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 / 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
• Proven experience in painting and finishing
• Internal, external painting and staining experience (essential).
• Spray finishing experience (desirable)
full training can be provided in our in-house spray shop)
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new techniques
• Good level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift and carry materials

We are a well-established, family-run joinery company based in Bideford, proudly trading for over 50 years. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner / Site Fitter to join our dedicated and skilled team.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 / 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
This is a varied position involving both workshop-based joinery and on-site installation work. Key responsibilities include:
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to specification
• Assemble joinery products including doors, windows, staircases and furniture
• Install and fit joinery components on-site, ensuring accuracy and a high-quality finish
• Work collaboratively with other trades such as plumbers, electricians, and painters
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀
• Full-time (Monday – Friday), permanent position
• Based in Bideford and surrounding areas
• Competitive salary, dependent on experience
• Company pension

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 / 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in bench joinery (essential)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in site fitting/carpentry (desirable)
• Strong practical skills with workshop machinery, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow instructions
• Good level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift and carry materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (required)

Robeda’s Construction and Joinery teams joined forces to renovate, reconstruct and rejuvenate this large period town house into a more spacious and charming family home in Appledore, North Devon.

Robeda took pride in designing and reconstructing a conservatory extension with roof lights at the rear of the property. A new open-plan modern kitchen and living areas were designed and fitted to enhance the internal space. The stunning mosaic Victorian floor hallway and the property's original and traditional stone walled garden were renovated whilst modern joinery windows and doors were installed along with mouldings added around the traditional and original period feature fireplace.
