After finding themselves locked out at the weekend this local customer found a ‘locksmith’ online (we won’t name the company as they have been reported to trading standards) and asked them to attend…
What should have been a simple non destructive gain entry at a standard labour rate turned into a nightmare as you can see in the invoice pictured…
The rogue company drilled the lock and charged over £1300.00 fitting an oversized replacement cylinder leaving the door vulnerable to attack.
We attended after they had left and fitted the correct size high security cylinder at no charge due to the customer having already been taken advantage of.
These scammers are unfortunately working locally on a daily basis, we fortunately saved another customer suffering the same fate this morning before it was too late 😮💨
