🏫 Keeping schools ready for the new term! 👷🏻‍♂️🔨

While the schools are quiet, our team have been anything but! 💪🏻

We’ve been working hard throughout the summer holidays on a number of school extension and refurbishment projects across West Yorkshire for Cornmill Construction LTD — helping keep projects on programme and ready for the new term. 📚🚧

We’ve also been busy working on:

Jane is the driving force behind our office administration, keeping everything organised and making sure the day-to-day running of the business stays on track 📋💻

Katie is always on hand when needed, supporting the team and helping keep everything moving behind the scenes. 👏🏻

The lads might get their hands dirty out on site, but we couldn’t keep the wheels turning without the hard work and dedication of our office team. 💪🏻

We have recently completed the Dry lining & Plastering on this magnificent renovation project in Brighouse for Cornmill Construction LTD 🚧🙌🏻

A seriously challenging but hugely satisfying project for the team, featuring plenty of freehand curved ceilings and walls — testing the skill and attention to detail from start to finish! 👨🏻‍🎨💪🏻

Another unbelievable effort from the lads on site to get this one over the line in the timeframe we did. 🔥

We’re sure this is going to make an absolutely stunning family home once it’s finished and ready for the new owners to move in. 🏡

What an amazing transformation on this community centre! 🙌

Finished using NHL2 lime render, supplied by EwiPro — and expertly applied by our team!
Bringing a fresh, traditional finish while helping this historic building look its best. 👌

🎉 Congratulations to our apprentice, Tommy D who is now a fully qualified plasterer 👏

A huge well done to Thomas, who has just received the results from his End-Point Assessment (EPA)!

Over the past two years, Tommy has been attending Leeds College of Building one day a week while spending the other four days on site with us, developing his skills in plastering, dry lining, and rendering.

His hard work, commitment, and willingness to learn have been outstanding from day one. Tommy has really applied himself throughout his apprenticeship, and it’s fantastic to see all that effort paying off.

He’s well on his way to becoming a master of his craft and an excellent tradesman. We’re incredibly proud of what he’s achieved so far and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Congratulations, Tommy – you’ve earned it! 💪

Tommy now joins Declan, who also recently passed his EPA back in February, continuing the strong success of our apprentices coming through the ranks.

We are proud of the opportunities we have been able to offer the next generation in helping them learn a trade. The future is bright for the WD team with the young talent coming through 🌟

A glimpse at the progress so far on this exceptional mill conversion in Ilkley, where our team has been delivering high-quality drylining and plastering works for one of our valued repeat clients 👷🏻‍♂️🏗️

With work now progressing onto the top two floors, this characterful building is well on its way to being transformed into a collection of luxury apartments. We’re proud to be playing our part in bringing this prestigious development to life.

📍 The Oaks, Skipton 🚧🏘️🏡

It’s been a phenomenal team effort on site at The Oaks, Skipton, with our team working wonders to get 9 plots over the line in less than 6 weeks.

With some of these properties being large 5-bedroom new builds, this achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of everyone involved. 🙌🏻

Our client is over the moon with the progress we’ve made and the way we’ve consistently met a very challenging programme of works. Despite the pace, the quality of finish has never been compromised and, as always, the standard of our work is top drawer.

A huge thank you to the entire WD Plastering & Rendering Ltd team for another outstanding effort, in what has been an extremely busy period for us all. 👏🏻
