Little bit of commercial works...
Working away in Milton Keynes re-joisting and recovering an existing roof for a Roofing company (J Cossey RMC).
Great bunch of lads to be associated with and always a pleasure...
Roof joists centres, solid bridging (noggins) to set in place...
Over lapped and fixed together on the central steel.
Existing steel beams already in place....then when timberwork is set... tec-bolted into the steels with cleated brackets..
Bonus working in an area with a tin-hat over...
Working in Kent, south-east... uptown...or further...

Sand and cement repair with clean lines finishing to.the window and taking the time.to score mortar lines to make the detail that bit nicer

A bit of a transformation for this customer.
In an ideal world, the whole lot would've come up....and be re-done the Build-up way!!
The customer requested it not so... and to be repaired as best as possible and done in a way to create a bit more longevity.

Alot of timber treatment, a lot of new (all treated timbers and new decking. As well as re-using some of the better original decking to keep costs down.

A very very hot job, the weather was awesome for us to get done (a bit to awesome at times), but a great job done... and Build-up are already on the next lot of jobs!!

Thank you all those that help to complete this one.

Routered the corners of the posts to soften them and make them look a bit softer......
All galvanised ironmongery and stainless steel screws where needed....

Must admit.... great look when finished.

Again... bad workmanship leading to all sorts of problems for this client.
Incorrect methods and materials used.
Due to the nature of the project we needed to remove what we could, re support, fill and re insulate and over board and create a sustainable and weatherproof external wall.
We then over cladded and sealed the walls with 150mm white UPVC shiplap.cladding.
Cladding from RS plastics (Ramsgate) timber and insulation Travis Perkins.

Panelling job in Broadstairs.Softwood mouldings to perimeter walls of the property.. Very effective indeed.... Left fill...
