💧 World Water Day 2026 | Water & Gender
This Sunday is and we are reminded that the global water crisis is not just about access, it’s about equality.
Across the world, women and girls are disproportionately affected, often bearing the responsibility of collecting water, losing time, opportunities, and even safety in the process. This is why this year’s theme, Water and Gender, calls for solutions that are not only innovative, but inclusive.
At Crowder Consulting, we are continually inspired by individuals who turn purpose into action. One example is Teng Yu-Mein, whose work through Efinity Social Enterprise is a powerful reminder of how innovation can directly transform lives. Our director, Tom Crowder, had the privilege of meeting her in Malaysia back in October 2019, and he was deeply inspired by her story, seeing first-hand how she turned the challenge of limited access to safe drinking water into a life-changing solution for communities.

✔️ A mother can focus on opportunity instead of survival
✔️ Families can live with greater health and dignity
✔️ Communities can begin to thrive
This , we reflect on how purpose-driven innovation like this challenges us to think differently, act responsibly, and contribute to a more equitable future.
Because when water flows, equality grows 🌍
