💡 Another small job completed in Bradford.

These old lantern lights had been on the garage for around 20 years and, to be fair to them, they'd done their time. 😂

We replaced them with some much more modern up and down lights with built in sensors.

Now when the customer walks down the drive, the lights automatically come on.

No remembering to switch them on.

No leaving them on all night.

Just a simple little upgrade that looks better and makes life that bit easier. 👍

Some lovely news for Dewsbury!

After standing empty for several years, the beautifully restored Dewsbury Arcade is reopening on Saturday 5 September.

The Grade II-listed Victorian building has been transformed into the UK’s first community-run shopping centre, providing a new home for local independent businesses.

There will be live performances and family activities at the grand opening too. It’s great to see such an important local building being brought back to life!

⚠️ WARNING: There’s a little bit of swearing in this video… mainly during and after being thrown out of an aeroplane. I think it was justified. 😂🪂

Well… I actually did it!

Here’s the full video of my charity skydive, including the little interview beforehand, getting thrown out of a perfectly good aeroplane, and the rather disturbing effect that 180mph free fall has on a 40 year old face. 🤣

All joking aside, I’m genuinely grateful that I got the chance to do this.

And a massive THANK YOU to everybody who donated, shared the posts and supported me. Without you lot, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to experience something I’ll probably remember for the rest of my life.

Or, put another way…

Thanks very much for paying to have me thrown out of a moving aeroplane. 😂🪂

We’ve currently raised an amazing £635 for charity. ❤️

Now, I may have got slightly overexcited in the video and said we’d raised £680… 👀

So rather than admit I got it wrong, I think the sensible thing is for us to actually get it to £680! 🤣

The date for my charity skydive is getting closer and closer, and I must admit... it's starting to feel very real now! 😬

Good news for Wilton Park!

Councillors have promised to create a long-term plan to restore and improve this much-loved local park.

We visit Wilton Park quite often and always enjoy the scooter park and the park itself, so it would be brilliant to see the area renovated and brought back to its best.

It’s a great local space with plenty of potential. What improvements would you like to see?
