This was what was inside a customer's heating system before I spent a day cleaning and flushing out. This would have eventually caused problems with the boiler, leading to expensive repair bills or even to boiler failure, not to mention the radiators will not be heating fully and giving out maximum efficiency. Fortunately I have caught this one in time, before the customer started having any major problems, the system is now clean and treated with inhibitor. (Something that should have been done when the boiler was installed only a couple of years ago)
