🔥Ever wondered what the inside of your chimney liner looks like before and after a professional chimney sweep?

I've swept this multi fuel stove yearly for the past 3 or 4 years. The before image shows soot deposits from burning quality fuel 3, 4 or 5 times weekly during the Autumn/Winter period over the last 12 months.

🌞Last sweep of a very hot week🌞

Thankfully my customers have kept me going with a steady supply of refreshing cold drinks throughout the week, it's been very much appreciated. Thank you.

Today's final job was a chimney sweep for a new customer's Fireline multi fuel stove. The customer had already sourced replacement rear fire bricks, so I swapped out the old worn ones for the new set as part of the visit.

Another stove and flue sorted, ready for those cooler Autumn evenings. 🍂🔥

🔥A conveniently located Velux skylight makes carrying out a post sweep smoke evacuation check much easier.🔥

Following every chimney sweep, I carry out a smoke evacuation test to confirm the appliance and flue are operating correctly, the chimney is drawing as it should and combustion gases are safely discharging from the chimney terminal.

🔥Last sweep of the week, this Saltfire multi-fuel stove in Sutton Coldfield.🔥

Plenty of fine, fluffy soot removed from the flue liner, a sign that the stove is being operated correctly and that good quality fuel is being used.

In addition to quality fuel, this customer uses a stove pipe thermometer, a simple tool for getting the best performance from your stove. It helps show when the stove reaches its optimum burning temperature, helping to achieve a efficient burn.
