Big progress being made on this project over the last week 👏🏼🏡

The team have been pushing on with the internals — stud walls are up, first fix pipework is complete, new waste routes installed, insulation in, ceilings renewed, lighting underway and the whole space is really starting to take shape. ⚒️

With the boarding finished and plastering complete, you can now properly see the transformation coming together. It’s always satisfying reaching this stage of a build where all the hard work behind the scenes starts becoming a finished space. 🙌🏼

This Bournville garage conversion has officially begun, and the team have hit the ground running by opening up the existing layout and starting the new internal structure. The original WC layout has been removed to make way for a brand-new shower room, while clever partitioning will keep the solar controls and boiler neatly separated from the main living space 🚿⚡

We’re also raising and insulating the floors, alongside fully insulating the walls with Celotex to make sure the finished space is warm, efficient and built to last 👏

Early stages — but already plenty of progress made this week.

From first fix to final finishes… Edgbaston is complete 🙌🏡

What started as an unusable shell has now been transformed into a fully functional upstairs living space — ready for carpets, furniture, and a whole new chapter for the homeowners ✨

This project has been a huge one for the team, boarding, bathroom, plastering, storage solutions, carpentry, staircase installation, decoration, and everything in between. The result is a space that not only looks fantastic, but adds real practicality and value to the home.

A massive effort from everyone involved and a finish we’re incredibly proud of 👏🔨

Final stretch in Edgbaston now… 👀🏡 This stage of a project is where all the little details come together — the bits most people never get round to doing in their own homes. 🔨✨

Painting is being finished off, the staircase is being varnished, shelves are going in, extractors fitted, sinks installed and the final clean-out is on the horizon 🪜🪵🛁

Not the biggest jobs on site… but often the ones that make the biggest difference. 👌

Big progress on the loft conversion this week 👷‍♂️ Structurally, everything is now done and we’re really starting to see it come together. The bathroom plumbing is all sorted and ready for the tray, wall panels and the rest of the fit-out 🚿 Around the rest of the build, all the walls have now had a whitewash, most of the skirting is on, the spindles and handrails are fitted at the top of the stairs, and Martin is finishing the last bits of skirting before the doors go in 🙌 Every week now it feels less like a building site and more like a finished room 🔨✨

Another busy week on the loft conversion as we move downstairs before the plasterers finish upstairs 👷‍♂️🏠

With the new staircase now in place, it meant the existing doorway layout needed reworking. Mart has been fitting new door frames and reconfiguring the space, while Kraig has been cracking on with plastering the new under-stairs cupboard and storage area.

It’s all about making sure every inch of space works properly and looks spot on when finished 🙌

Big week for us getting the staircase in — and we've had a bit of fun along the way. We’ve had to open up the ceiling, brace everything properly, and work smart to hit that all-important 2m head height for regs 📏

Using a rake down through the bulkhead has made it work, and this is exactly where the detail matters. It’s not just about getting it done… it’s about getting it right for the customer 👌

Progress like this is what takes a project from good to spot on. More to come 👀
