Delivering Smarter Water Pressure Monitoring Across Birmingham
INOV8 Electrical Services are proud to be working in partnership with EQUANS and Birmingham City Council to deliver a large-scale Water Pressure Monitoring Programme across more than 200 high-rise residential blocks throughout Birmingham.
This innovative project is designed to provide real-time visibility of water system performance, helping to identify pressure fluctuations, potential outages, and emerging risks before they impact residents.
Through the installation of advanced monitoring technology across Birmingham City Council’s high-rise residential stock, the Council can proactively monitor water pressure performance 24/7, identify potential issues before they escalate, protect valuable housing assets, and minimise disruption to thousands of residents across the city.
Key benefits include:
💧 24/7 Remote Water Pressure Monitoring
📊 Live Data & Trend Analysis
🚨 Instant High & Low Pressure Alerts
🏢 Protection of Critical Building Infrastructure
⚡ Faster Response to Potential Service Interruptions
📈 Data-Driven Asset Management Decisions
The ability to monitor and analyse pressure data remotely provides a proactive approach to asset management, enabling early intervention and helping to reduce the risk of water supply issues, leaks, and service disruptions affecting residents.
Projects like this demonstrate how technology, innovation, and collaboration can be used to improve the resilience of housing infrastructure while supporting better outcomes for communities across Birmingham.
