A couple of weeks ago I had a table for clients and friends at a boxing night hosted by Matt Dunleavy of D5 Construction LTD in aid of the The Daniel Baird Foundation who are a brilliant charity providing bleed control kits in the community.

Unfortunately these kits are needed more often in time critical situations and one day, a kit donated by the funds raised by this event will hopefully help someone.

I was not a boxing fan before this night, it’s never really appealed to me but I’m all for supporting a friend and a good cause! But what a night it was and I am now a fan! With the brilliant Ian John Lewis reffing all nine fights it was great to be ring side and watch the action.

Over £5,000 was raised, this will be used to provided and distribute more bleed control kits to be there when needed 🥊
