Hi all

Free words of advice to prevent frozen pipes. Most modern condensing boilers with weather temp controls built in will fire up on their own when the temp drops.

I know with high costs and winter fuel cuts its cheaper to not have your heating on.

I recommend you keep your thermostats at minimum so the boiler will continue to run preventing pipes from freezing and popping
It costs next to nothing to run the heating at minimum temperature.

Also, same applies for condense pipes that go outside. Keep them insulated and if boiler does lock out, use a kettle and keep resetting the boiler.
