🔥 BRAINTREE EXTENSION & GARAGE CONVERSION COMPLETE (FINALLY!) 🔥

This one has been a proper journey from start to finish 👊🏼

We’re really pleased to say the garage conversion is now complete and the final floor has gone down — and it’s completely transformed the space!

This project also included a full extension, and like a lot of builds, we hit a bump in the road along the way… the roof needed to be completely redone due to an issue we weren’t happy with.

It’s all been redone now, so for once we’re actually praying for some rain to make sure everything is spot on 😂🙏🏼🌧️

✅ Space completely transformed

🔥 MASSIVE TRANSFORMATION ON OUR SAWBO PROJECT 🔥

This one has been a serious job from start to finish 👊🏼

Some major structural steelwork went into opening this property up and creating the space the clients wanted — and what a difference it’s made!

✅ Serious steelwork & structural alterations
✅ Beautiful new kitchen fitted
✅ New windows all fitted
✅ Huge open-plan living space created
✅ Plastering & finishing works coming together

We’re nearly over the line now 🙌🏼

Just the flooring to go down, garage to finish and the big set of sliding doors to be fitted… then this one is DONE.

Can’t wait to show the final finished pictures because the transformation on this house is unreal 👌🏼🏠

🏡✨ SAFFRON WALDEN RENOVATION UPDATE ✨🏡

Another fantastic project really starting to come together for 💙 Nevill Design & Build 💙.

The transformation from the original layout to this stunning open-plan space has been incredible. 🔨 We’ve opened up the ground floor with structural steelwork, creating a bright, spacious kitchen and family area that’s already starting to show what the finished home will look like. 🙌

One thing that has really stood out on this project is the client’s eye for design. 🎨 Every colour, finish and detail has been carefully thought through, and it’s all coming together beautifully. The kitchen looks absolutely stunning already, and we can’t wait to see it once the flooring, decorating and final touches are complete. 🤩

A special mention also has to go to the client and her family. 👏 They’ve taken on a lot of the work themselves to help bring the project to life, and she’s got one super dad to thank for all the hard work he’s put in along the way! 💪 It’s been a real team effort, and it’s always great to work alongside clients who are so passionate about their home.

We’re now into the final stages, and we can’t wait to share the finished transformation with you all. 🏡✨

🏡🔨 LOFT CONVERSION UPDATE – BISHOP’S STORTFORD & HARLOW 🔨🏡

It’s been a busy few months at 💙 Nevill Design & Build 💙, and we’re now coming to the end of two fantastic loft conversion projects in Bishop’s Stortford and Harlow. 👷‍♂️✨

The Bishop’s Stortford project has grown well beyond the original loft conversion, with the client deciding to make the most of the scaffolding while it was in place. 🏠 Rather than just completing the loft, we’ve also carried out a number of additional works, including roof repairs, external maintenance and preparing the entire exterior of the property for a full repaint. 🎨 The decorating phase has now been handed over to the sprayers, who will complete the external finish and really bring the property back to life. 🙌

Meanwhile, our Harlow loft conversion is also entering its final stages, with the finishing touches now being completed before handover. ✅ It’s always rewarding seeing these spaces transformed from empty roof voids into bright, spacious rooms that the family can enjoy for years to come.

Progress coming together nicely on our Bishop’s Stortford project 🏡🔨

The bathroom is now fully tiled and looking great ✨🚿
Ready for second fixing next week before the final touches go in 👌

It’s nearly time for the clients to start moving across, with carpets and finishing bits underway 📦🏠

Meanwhile, we’re cracking on with the garage conversion 💪
Plasterboarding should be completed by tomorrow and it’s really starting to take shape 🔧🧱

Big progress on one of our biggest structural jobs to date 🔧🏗️🔥

This one has been a serious project from day one 💪 — full extension 🧱, large garage build 🚗, garage conversion 🔄, and major structural alterations throughout 🏠⚠️

We’re now around 80% complete on the steel installation 🏗️🔩 with some massive openings formed 👀 — not a small job by any means! A lot of planning 🧠, precision 📏, and coordination 🤝 has gone into making sure everything is spot on ✅

Next up ➡️ picture frame steel going in at the rear on Monday 🔥 — big milestone for this one! Once that’s in, we’ll be ready to start closing things back up 🔨 and bringing it all together 🙌

🚧 Braintree Project Update 🚧

Another quality job coming together nicely over in Braintree 💪

🧱 All plastering complete — the space is now prepped and ready🎨 Clients are in tomorrow & Friday to get it all painted and bring it to life🏠 Garage being plastered Friday to finish that section off

🔨 We’ll be back in a week to fit the kitchen — where it all really starts to come together

✨ Skylights & bifolds installed and they are looking unreal☀️ Loads of natural light flooding in — completely transforming the space

⚙️ Busy times for us at the moment, but everything is running smoothly and progressing exactly how it should

🔥 This is going to be a top-quality finish when it’s done — one we’re really proud of

Nearly ended up stuck in Dubai for the celebrations… at least it would’ve been a free firework display 😅

Honestly though, you’re the one that makes everything feel right, even when life’s a bit all over the place. Don’t say it enough, but I really do appreciate you.
