Evolution is expanding and this is your chance to come and join a successful company which puts its people, customers and communities first.

We are looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Joiners to join our growing team, working on maintenance and refurbishment projects across social housing, schools and public sector buildings.

🔹 Location: Blackpool & surrounding areas
🔹 Pay: £30,000 – £34,000
🔹 Type: Full-time, Permanent

Requirements:
✅ NVQ Level 2 Joinery (Level 3 preferred)
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Experience in refurbishment projects
✅ Strong joinery skills (essential), with basic plastering, tiling & minor plumbing
✅ Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or in a team
✅ 2 references required

The Role Includes:
🔹 First & second fix joinery
🔹 Installing doors, kitchens, partitions & flooring
🔹 Working in occupied and void properties
🔹 Delivering high-quality work to programme

What We Offer:
✔ £30,000 – £34,000 salary

Evolution is expanding and we're looking for qualified Electricians to join our growing team, working across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast on social housing and public sector projects.

🔹 Location: Blackpool & Fylde Coast
🔹 Pay: £36,400 – £40,560 + on-call allowance
🔹 Type: Full-time, Permanent

Requirements:
✅ NVQ Level 3 + AM2 (or equivalent route)
✅ ECS Gold Card (or working towards)
✅ 18th Edition (BS 7671)
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Professional, tidy, and customer-friendly approach
✅ Inspection & testing (advantageous – training provided)

The Role Includes:
🔹 Electrical maintenance, repairs & upgrades
🔹 Kitchen & bathroom installs
🔹 Full rewires & lighting upgrades
🔹 EICR remedials
🔹 Work in occupied homes, schools & public buildings

🌟 Skills for Life – Session 2 at The Cliffs Hotel, Blackpool 🌟

The Evolution team were proud to support The Talent Foundry’s Skills for Life – Session 2 alongside Blackpool Council & M&G, helping inspire and empower young people to build confidence and essential skills for their futures.

Hosted at The Cliffs Hotel in Blackpool, students took part in immersive workshops with the hotel’s kitchen and housekeeping teams. From a hotel‑style bed‑making competition to teamwork and communication activities, the session centred around building essential employability skills in a fun and engaging way.

Hearing from organisers that volunteers “inspired students who are normally completely disinterested” was a real testament to the power of these sessions and the impact they’re having on young people.

We’re proud to keep championing programmes like this and helping young people build the confidence, integrity and skills they need to take their next steps.

🌟 Inspiring the Next Generation at the Prosper Career Fair! 🌟

The Evolution team joined Council at the Prosper Career Fair in Fleetwood, an event bringing together students from 10 local schools to explore the possibilities their future careers could hold.

Much like the wider Prosper careers initiative, the fair aimed to spark curiosity, broaden horizons and introduce students to real pathways into employment. We loved showcasing the huge variety of careers available across the construction industry, from hands‑on trades and surveying to project management, planning and technical roles.

Our pipe‑connecting activity proved especially popular, giving students a fun, practical insight into problem‑solving on site 👷🔧

It was fantastic to see young people getting involved, asking questions, and discovering opportunities they may never have considered before.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped to chat with us. The enthusiasm, confidence and engagement from students was brilliant to see. We’re proud to support events like this alongside Wyre Council, helping inspire the workforce of tomorrow.

🌟 National Apprenticeship Week 🌟

This week, JJ and Hayden visited Pegasus School to talk about the value of apprenticeships, including Hayden’s journey as a Joinery apprentice. They highlighted how apprenticeships offer hands‑on experience, practical skills and strong career pathways.

Later, they joined Jane and Warren at Athena School, where Warren once studied. The team spoke to several groups about the skills and attitudes that help young people succeed in the workplace and within an apprenticeship.

Warren shared how spending two days a week with Evolution during school gave him invaluable real‑world experience before starting his electrical apprenticeship at Blackpool and The Fylde College.

Our Managing Director, JJ Fitzgerald, added:
“We’re passionate about providing opportunities for local residents and helping young people get their foot on the career ladder.”

👏 It was fantastic to see so many students engaged and to have our team visiting local schools, inspiring the next generation to consider the apprenticeship route.

New jobs created after achieving a milestone contract🌟

We’re delighted to announce that, from April 2026, we will become the sole delivery partner for Blackpool Coastal Housing, providing long‑term electrical maintenance and improvement services across more than 4,500 homes throughout the Blackpool and Fylde Coast.

This achievement reflects Evolution’s strong track record of partnership working with local authorities and housing providers, and our commitment to delivering high-quality work across commercial properties, social housing and new-build developments.

JJ Fitzgerald, our Managing Director, said:
“This contract win represents one of the largest single contracts we have secured since the business was formed in 2012, so is a huge milestone for us. Our team consistently delivers the highest standards, and we are proud that this has been recognised by such a major public sector organisation.”

Alongside this contract, we have secured several other major projects across the region, making 2026 and beyond an exciting and busy period for the business.
