Please see below Road Closure Details for access to Jordans Glass from Wednesday 6th May 2026

Amy Johnson Way upcoming closure

Once Vickers Way opens it will also enable us to carry out the final stage of works on Amy Johnson Way, at the corner just after Sir Frank Whittle Way.

To enable the works to be completed safely we will require a closure to this section of Amy Johnson Way, between Sir Frank Whittle Way and the southern entrance of Hyundai/Kia/Nissan showroom, as shown in green on the map.

The closure will be in place from Wednesday 6 May, dependent on Vickers Way being fully operational, for approximately 12 weeks. Access will be maintained for pedestrians via the new footpath, however during the closure there will be no through route for vehicle traffic.

Access to Jordans Glass will be from Vickers Way. As a reminder, vehicles travelling southbound on Common Edge Road will use the new right turning lane to access the turning for Vickers Way.
