RAPID RESPONSE – APPRENTICES

Due to the ridiculous insurance quotes for adding apprentices and multiple electricians to our company vans—and all the rules surrounding who can drive them—we’ve decided it’s time for a rethink.

So, this is the future of Rapid Electrical: our brand-new electric response bikes! 😂

Perfect for call-outs, testing, fault-finding and carrying everything needed for all types of electrical work.

There’s only one small problem: Eddie, our new first-year apprentice, needs to travel with Liam. So, if anyone has a motorbike sidecar for sale, with roof rack please get in touch!

With insurance prices and regulations going the way they are, this could genuinely be how we move forward.

Road works ( get me a shot gun)

You might think I’m moaning, but the constant roadworks, diversions and delays are having a serious impact on small local businesses. We’re losing valuable working hours just trying to get from one customer to the next.

Blackpool Council ( obviously a man who plans the time and dates of these routes and road works) needs to understand that this isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s costing local businesses time and money. At the moment, it feels like they’re slowly destroying the town they’re supposed to be supporting.

It’s an absolute joke.

❤️ A job that meant a little more to us today.

Rapid Electrical have been out fitting new defibrillators for Staining Parish Council today

This one is quite close to my heart. I lost my dad suddenly to a heart attack in 2008. I’ve often wondered whether, if a defibrillator had been nearby at the time, things might have been different.

So when Staining Parish Council asked us to help with these installations, we were proud to do the work at a fair price and play a small part in helping our local community.

Defibrillators are there for anyone to use in an emergency. You don’t need to be medically trained — the machine gives clear instructions and guides you through what to do.

They are at the village hall staining, Morrisons Staining, and Newton Arms on Normoss rd. The parish council do this totally out of their budget but theirs still not enough about.

Hopefully these new units will never need to be used. But if the day ever comes when somebody needs one, having it nearby could help save a life. ❤️

A big thank you to Staining Parish Council for continuing to invest in the safety of our community.
