Our latest project, with the first phase carried out mid summer last year , Alfie & myself were asked to return and carry out phase 2 of the installation this summer, which we just completed today.
Please see the gallery of photos etc taken pretty much in sequence as it all progressed.
The lovely local lady & gentleman are ever so pleased.

Here another smashing little job my mucker Alfie & I have just completed for a lovely local lady & gentleman.
They wanted a level finish where the paving and grass met up with the old sandstone circular.
We ground out the old cement pointing inbetween the old circular & treated the circular with HR Future clean before power washing and grouting everywhere.
This particular Porcelain was one of my favourite - RUSTIQUE
LOOKS CLASSY.
The artificial lawn was set on a full open graded bed of lime and the Aco style channel storm drains installed were all tapped into the surface water system rather than just being there for good looks.
It turned out a lovely low maintenance useable area if you ask me.

Even the gentleman’s dog goldie liked the grass.

Here we have just made good on what I can only say is a make do and mend landscape job.
Carried out in the best way possible for a lovely local lady to fit the clients budget, as this is a rental property.
We lifted all the old loose & broken paving , discovering there was even more paving slabs beneath , then finding that there were two different types of slab with differing dimensions, they were then cleaned off and stock piled for re use.
The whole area dug out, including raised shrub bed, trees & stumps removed and the entire area compacted with hardcore & a membrane before the old paving was cut in & re laid.
Railway sleeper edge and a nice new artificial lawn.
A bit of a transformation for the tenants 👍
You see what can be done when you put your mind to it and with a touch of thought , love & design👌
Look how dark the garden was beforehand but how light and airy it became after the removal of said tree and stumps.
A big thankyou the Elliot for all his efforts here and Alf sticking with me during the grass install .
Please people….If you are wanting such tasks carried out correctly, expect to pay a premium .
Remember, great work isn’t cheap, & cheap work isn’t great 👍

Well this particular job was a real labour of love.
Alfie & I completed this today for a lovely lady & gentleman who may I say, not only had great taste in materials for the installation of their Driveway, but a great choice in Honest & Reliable & Trustworthy craftsmen showcasing some exceptional skills & detail, Thankyou Alfie, for all your hard work buddy🙏❤️
The Driveway had literally tons of dig out removed from site before a complete edge to edge ground separation membrane placed below 11 tons of clean quarried Type 1 & compacted
A complete fully functional series of Storm channels installed correctly and connected up to the surface water system as drainage to prevent pooling.
The step at the front door was built, mitred and bullnosed & polished by myself on site.
The Double picture framing was all cut out at 95mm strips by Alfie and myself to give it that delicate and classy look, literally dozens and dozens of cuts all with polished up edges too with different grits.
Beautiful falls in two directions and recessed covers cut in to mm precision, using a BATTIPAV PRIME 100s.
The job is shown here from start to completion & turned out a real beauty even if I say so myself.
Pictures were taken upon completion in in nice dry weather today without the paving being wet down , like most landscapers do for that all too common artificial aesthetic effect🤣😂
It didn’t require wetting down, it really looked that good bone dry.
With finishing touches we decorated with Alpine Blue Gravel here n there to break things up.
Thanks to Mr Melia from DCM for helping me out with that 🙏

Outside Grafting today with my mucker Afie, I treated us both to one of these as the ice cream van parked up nearby 👍🙏
Sometimes the simplest of sweet pleasures like this, bring the greatest of days 🙏❤️

Another lovely little job just completed today by the dream team that is Davethepave & Alfiepops.
This was carried out for a lovely lady & gentleman in Fleetwood, who wanted to make best use of the space in their back yard.
I hasten to say, we transformed that space for them no end.
The result we achieved I feel, is a lovely clean looking tidy private space that can now be enjoyed for relaxing in & snoozing in during those warm summer nights to come.

To all our customers,
Please understand that the current weather is absolutely awful, with it being wet and cold , the driving rain & storm like winds slows things down a touch, and delays are inevitable.
It’s out of our control, but rest assured, Alfie & myself are working very hard to get to you each in turn.
I’m kindly asking that you Please be understanding & patient with us as we are doing everything we can to meet deadlines & get to you asap.
Just one day of rain can cause a job to slow down by 3 days.
And As more rain pours from the sky, further issues are uncovered whilst carrying out work in the lovely uk weather , thus further delays are possible & so on.
We always get there in the end 🙏🤞👍
