On this property, we removed the old roofline materials and found sections of rotten timber that needed replacing before fitting the new rosewood fascias, soffits, guttering and cladding.

Is your garage roof leaking? Are your valuables safe?

This bitumen flat roof was holding water, while cracks and tears in the covering were allowing moisture through. Underneath, the boards had become completely soaked.

We removed the damaged roof back to the existing joists, replaced the saturated materials and installed a new Restec Roofing Systems Flexitec 2020 covering with a 20-year guarantee.

Now the roof is sorted, the garage can get back to doing its actual job, whether that’s storing tools, bikes, boxes or everything you haven’t found a place for indoors.

A big well done to the Spirit of Youth Junior Football Club - Blackpool U12s Jaguars, who picked up another brilliant result on Saturday.

This commercial roof needed waterproofing, with solar panels next on the list.

We were approached by a solar company as approved contractors to waterproof this commercial roof and prepare it for their upcoming solar panel installation.

The existing perimeter trims were warping and causing fast deterioration of the perimeter trims, so we cleaned and inspected the roof before waterproofing the perimeter.

Working to the solar company’s specification, we also waterproofed the anchors to hold the solar panels later and helped problem-solve the roofing details needed for the next stage.

Spray foam made repairs extremely difficult on this one.

The roof was showing its age, with slipped, missing and broken slates, as well as signs of previous repairs.

The spray foam had bonded everything together, meaning removing one slate could potentially disturb or damage those around it.

With the overall condition of the roof, it was deemed un-mortgageable so a reroof was the only option.

We renewed the roof while keeping the slate and yellow buff ridge style seen across the street, and replaced the skylight at the same time.

The result? Same character, just a much cleaner and fresher finish.

Sometimes you just need the right roof for the job.

This lower-pitched garage roof was previously covered with concrete tiles and had accumulated plenty of leaves and debris, including a fair amount blocking the gutters.

We removed the old covering and replaced it with a uPVC single ply system.

This is a budget-friendly option and, for this garage, there was no need to overcomplicate things. The new covering gives the customer the protection they need, a much cleaner-looking finish and a 20-year guarantee.

Simple, practical and finished cleanly.

This one needed a little divine intervention…

We were recently up on the roof at Kirkham Methodist Church, where the previous roofer had “repointed” the ridges without removing them, this caused the mortar to delaminate and drop out.

So, we put it right.

We give the customer an option for both re-bedding and pointing the ridges properly or a mechanically fixed system, they chose the mechanically fixed system using the Marley Ltd capped angle ridge tiles from North West Roofing Supplies.
