WE DID IT!!!!!!🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉The two of us together 💖
26 MILES around London, with Ultra Challenge for our chosen charity, Suicide&Co. .......
And in 7 hrs 27 minutes!!!! 🥳
What a day, already a top highlight for 2026. Full of highs, lows, grit, pain, laughter, camaraderie, pride and above all a massive sense of achievement. We are SOOOOOO proud to have raised money and awareness for the incredible charity that helped me, Suicide&Co and helps so many bereaved by su***de everyday. We kept this at the forefront of our mind the whole way, especially when every step hurt, which towards the end it did!!!! Miles 20-23 were a killer!!!!
This was so personal to us. It was more than just a walk. It wasn't that long ago that even leaving the house was difficult. Yesterday, I used one of the things that has helped me to recover, to help challenge myself and to be able to give back to the charity that helped me out of a dark place. This was an achievement on many levels and reminded me how far I have come in healing process.
I really can't thank them enough. They were a lifeline when I needed one.
This was also for our dear Cath, forever 48 🧡, in our thoughts the whole way round and for others that have lost their life to su***de.
And lastly, this was for anyone who struggles with their mental health 🫶
So here are a few of our highlights through photos. We had the most beautiful of days (how lucky!) and got to see London at it's best and walked our first ever marathon!!! To have our children with us on Facetime for part of it was extra special.
A HUGE THANK YOU to those that have helped us raise an amazing total, we couldn't have done it without your support. You all know who you are. We are beyond grateful as we sit here now, to each and every one of you. The messages of encouragement, the good lucks, the voice notes.....it all helped so much to keep us going. Thank you!!!!!!!

This Charity is small and relies solely on donations. It costs the charity £30 for a counselling session, which they provide for anyone bereaved by su***de for free.
So far, we have raised enough to help provide 56 specialist bereavement sessions. 💕We'd love for this to be more!!
