This is why you dont bury maintained junctions. During an EICR found breaks and loose connections in the ring circuits conductors. It is one ring for the whole house including the kitching so turning it into radials or reducing the mcb size wasn't an option.
A junction box under the bedroom floor was figure 8 throwing the results out and a socket had been extended a few inches and the connectors plastered over. Was a nightmare to find and resulted in the whole bedroom floor up and chasing a wall out.
