We were recently contracted in to carry out the installation and commissioning of a large CCTV system as part of a major hotel refit at in Edinburgh.

Our work included:
• 2 × 64-channel NVRs installed.
• 4 x 24-port POE Switches installed.
• 80+ network cameras fitted throughout the two buildings.

While on site, we were also asked to assist with the hotel’s network infrastructure — ensuring all TVs, phones and Wi-Fi access points were fully operational across the premises.

Last week, we completed a multi-system installation at a site with some history — a former WWI RAF hangar.

This building was originally part of the RAF’s first military aerodrome, where early aircraft were repaired and pilots trained during World War 1. Over a century later, the structure is still standing strong and now apparently haunted. 👻

Our installation included:

• 16-channel recorder integrated into the existing comms cabinet, with 9 cameras positioned around the site.

• Euro 46 intruder alarm system with a mix of door contacts and PIRs to secure all key entry points.

• AlarmSense fire panel, complete with sounders and manual call points.

Never seen any ghosts personally but time will tell if the cameras pick up any paranormal activity. 😂

A special thank you to the incredible neonatal team who saved Ruaridh's life when he was born 12 weeks premature. Today, we gave back with a donation — a small gesture for the enormous care they gave us during our long stay in ward 40.

Can not thank Robbie Tanner of TNR fire and security Ltd enough for the information sent over and his help and advice! Stopping his gym session to find relevant service manuals and guiding me through the process. Thanks again Robbie majorly appreciated!😁 Something a bit different this afternoon.Discovered a good physically challenged friends door latch looked to be missing an important bolt.... Turns out was removed in a bodge repair!! Got passed a contact to speak to for advice and made nessesary calibrations to have door functioning properly again and secure the building.

I've been a bit quiet on here recently, but here's a small glimpse of what we’ve been up to:

• Welcomed a new apprentice — still early days, but I have high hopes for him!
• Replaced an outdated ADT alarm and installed new CCTV in Coupar Angus.
• Installed CCTV at Norman Laing to allow customers to view their MOTs, ensuring legal compliance.
• Fitted a Pyronix Enforcer wireless alarm in Auchterarder.
• Completed a Starlink installation in Blairgowrie.

CCTV and Intruder Alarm Installation at

We recently upgraded the alarm and cctv at the cycle hub.

The previous systems, although operational, had not been maintained or repaired for a long time. We replaced them with a new Hikvision CCTV system and a Pyronix Alarm Panel. Despite encountering issues with the old cabling and devices, we swiftly repaired them and ensured everything was running at 100%.

Both systems are now integrated into a single app, allowing the client to view the CCTV footage and set or unset the alarm from anywhere in the world.

We have been quiet on social media but certainly been busy.

This is a project we recently completed in Alyth at a takeaway which the client is currently trying to sell, the council had requested they install and commission a fire alarm before this could happen.

We opted for a wireless EMS SmartCell system as with the fire alarm being an afterthought in the recent works carried out by JB Gow, this would eliminate the need for cutting and patching holes to install cables resulting in fewer costs for the client.

Fire alarm installed and commissioned all within a matter of hours and another happy customer.

Fire alarm maintenance conducted at a local village hall.
