Latest one completed this week, this one was for my brother in law and his wife in Dereham 😊

They’ve lived with a gravel area for quite some time and opted for these beautiful Indian sandstone slabs in the “autumn brown” colour range.
Sealed and jointed using Azpects Ltd sandstone sealer and jointing compound…and also installed a new gate and small piece of fencing to finish the area off 👍🏼

Looks like summer has finally arrived ☀️ 😎

Indian sandstone in Dereham this week and there’s some beautiful tones in these slabs.

I’ll finish laying the patio next week, before sealing the slabs, jointing the patio and installing a new fence and garden gate.

Have a lovely weekend everyone ❤️

Busy little week this week, a few small jobs and also meeting new customers and looking at new jobs.

And my first install on behalf of Rhino Security, installing this telescopic safety bollard for a customer in Poringland who wanted some extra security for his new camper 😊👍🏼

Completed this one earlier in the week for an absolutely lovely family in Brandiston.

The customers wanted a cottage feel to the area…to compliment the lovely home and location they have, and had their heart set on these beautiful limestone slabs 😍

I had to dig a new water supply in to begin with, along with some new drainage…before digging out for the new patio area.

The limestone slabs are edged with a lovely cottage brick that I cut down to produce a smaller edging, and jointed using the Azpects Ltd jointing compound, and dressed with a Cotswold chipping decorative gravel.

Back in a month or so to seal everything 👍🏼

Another one wrapped up this week for a lovely couple in Binham.

They asked me to come in and help restore these patio and pathways surrounding the property, nearly 200sqm in total so this will be done in stages.

I treated, cleaned and pressure washed the slabs with algae cleaner…before a complete re-point and 2 coats of sealer to help protect the slabs from the weather.
It’s made a huge difference and the customers are over the moon with it 😊…and my unhealthy obsession with slabs means I was in my element returning these to their former glory!!

Next stop is Brandiston, and a limestone patio 😁😁

My latest job, a porcelain patio for a lovely couple in Burgh Next Aylsham 😊

They had an extension built last year, along with the brick wall planters and steps.
So I was asked to come in and install the channel drainage and porcelain, before sealing and grouting.

Really enjoyed this one and it completes a beautiful area for the customers to enjoy the summers 😎

And the grouting of this was an absolute joy, thanks to the brilliant new brush in grout by Azpects Ltd…saves hours of cleaning down and makes grouting enjoyable rather than dreaded 😂

Finished the week off back at Blakeney to clean and seal the sandstone patio I laid last year.

Next stop is a beautiful property in Binham, for some major patio restoration and TLC 🫶🏼

All finished on this one today for a lovely, lovely lady in Holt 😊

The customer inherited quite a task when she purchased this house…from a man that had a particular love for everything nautical, sea blue…and if it wasn’t made of concrete he made it himself 😂
I’ve removed nearly 30 tonnes in total!!!

The back garden was the first job, overlaying the old concrete path and pad with sandstone slabs and increasing the patio size.
The front garden was a case of yet more concrete and pathways removed and replaced with these beautiful tegula setts.

I’ve planted a few trees for the customer as well and have given her a good start to her eventual “gravel garden”…that is to be planted up by herself and her daughter.

Looking forward to coming back once it’s all planted, established and in full colour.

Next stop…Aylsham, and a big porcelain job 😁

Another busy week, starting in Reepham for a lovely returning customer 😊

I laid a large patio here last year and we had a few leftover sandstone slabs…so I’ve put another small seating area in for them and edged it with the leftover tegula setts that the customer also had.

I then ended the week back in Sparham to finish off my turfing job, nearly 100sqm in total to overlay the old flower bed 😮‍💨

Next stop…Holt 😊

Well at least it’s decent turfing weather ☔️!!!

Been a busy bee since the snow cleared…completely finished on my Blakeney job now and this week I was back with one of my favourite customers in Sparham 😊

This was originally a large planted bed with a circular paving kit incorporated into it that the customers boys use as a basketball area.
So I was asked to do a quick patch up and repoint of the circle kit to give it a few more years use…before turfing the original bed.

Off to Reepham next week before coming back to Sparham to finish turfing…just need spring to hurry up now!!

Turf supplied as always by Medler Turf
