**Possible job position** multi skilled tradesman**
Evening everyone, we are a small company based in Blyth. We are at a tipping point in the business where in order to grow I need to take a step back from the tools and become more office based to run the company. By me not doing this it's holding progress back, however lack of staff is currently preventing this from happening.
Our current set up is
2 X Electricians
1 X Electrical apprentice
1 X Multi skilled
1 X Plasterer
We also have a good network of subcontractors who are all local lads that help from time to time with the work load.
This includes
Another electrician
A joiner
A plumber/bathroom fitter
A painter/decorator
A brickie
We would be looking to take on another multi skilled tradesman, someone with a basic joinery background would be ideal. Other skill sets below would be favourable.
-Cleaning down areas in preparation for Painting / decorating
-Tiling / regrouting
-Installing new skirting boards
-Replacing flooring / floor boards
- under cutting doors to allow for air flow / fitting door vents
But not limited to the above
- larger jobs entail fully gutting properties and getting them back to a good standard to go back onto the market.
Work that I would call basic property maintenance.
Some jobs will be working in a small team, some days on your own.
The work won't be rocket science and if it requires a specific skilled trade then we have them on standby.
-Driving is essential (meet at office in Blyth industrial estate in the morning or at the job) possibly van share to job
-Common sense.
-Clean and tidy worker.
-Experience working in/renovating properties.
-Be able to speak to customers.
-Self motivated and able to make informed decisions.
-Being mindful of working in other peoples homes.
-Good time keeping
-Reliability 100% essential - I understand life gets busy sometimes but if you are part of the Monday Club please don't apply.

A 2 week paid work trial will be carried out for the chosen candidate to make sure they are a good fit for the team.
Ideally on a self employed position to start with the offer of permanent employment after 6 months.
