Proud of one of my apprentices achieving apprentice of the year award

Most of you will be familiar with oor Steph; the colour blind sparky that works behind the bar, and brings that feral energy on a Saturday!

Today, she completed her second year of her apprenticeship, and won the Apprentice of the Year Award! We're really proud of her, so here she is with a wee bottle from her pals at the Postie! Well done! 🥳🥳

Wishing all our customers a very merry Christmas, we’re having a much needed break for a few days but we will answer any emergencies that crop up. (Keep them to a minimum though😁)

GOLF OUTING FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE, GLASGOW
IN MEMORY OF HARLEY MCKENNA

Bright Electrical & Testing Ltd in conjunction with Ronald McDonald House, Glasgow (a small independent Scottish charity (SC023199)) are sponsoring an outing and are holding a Texas Scramble at West Lothian Golf Club on Saturday 26th August 2023.

Ronald McDonald House Glasgow provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families with seriously ill children in hospital. The House costs in the region of £700,000 per year to run, helping c500 families each year from across Scotland and further afield. The house has all the amenities you would find at home, enabling families to rest and recuperate in a safe haven while their child is in hospital.

The format of the day is a Texas Scramble with teams of 4. If you would like to enter a team to this fabulous charity event please just drop me a message through messenger or email me at [email protected]. If you don’t have a team and wish to enter we can arrange for you to join a team.
The cost to participate in this event will be £20 a head with all profits going direct to Ronald McDonald House. The first T off time is 11am.

There will be prizes for the winning team, nearest the pin and probably a b***y prize (that’s just to give John and Stuart a chance to actually win a prize 😊). We will also have a raffle should anyone wish to buy tickets. If you are able to donate any prizes they would gratefully received. Again just message and I’ll get the good wife to arrange collection.

Coffee/Tea and a wee Roll will be offered prior to the event.
