Our aim is to work hard to make your garden beautiful, just the way you want it, so you can spend your spare time out enjoying it. We offer all maintenance gardening service. This includes :

Mowing and border cutting, on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Tidy ups, whether it's a small tidy up with your lawn cutting or large scale garden tidy ups. Expert advice and planting of flowers, trees, shrubs.

Hedge Cutting. Some aspects of tree work, though we do work alongside local, specialist tree surgeons for bigger jobs. Leaf clearing. Fence posts/panel installing. All aspects of landscaping. We offer highly competitive prices, with free quotes available.

☀️ A quick update while this dry spell continues…

We’re currently avoiding routine lawn mowing wherever possible. With the prolonged dry weather, cutting already stressed grass can often do more harm than good and may leave lawns looking worse rather than better.

If your lawn is becoming untidy and you’d like it given a light trim on a higher setting to tidy it up, just drop us a message and we’ll be happy to help.

In the meantime, we’re focusing on all the other jobs that can really make a difference to your garden—hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, border maintenance, planting, shrub care and general tidy-ups.

Two long, hot days in one incredible garden.

From clipping mature beech hedges and shaping large topiary to working our way across three levels of the garden, it’s been hard work—but jobs like this remind me why I love what I do.

It’s a privilege to care for gardens that have taken decades to create.

More Box Moth found today at this garden in Bury. Luckily we’re stocked up with Xentari and the Health Mix. Not too much damage so hopefully the previous treatments and catching these early will keep this hedge healthy.

Just a quick reminder that your lawns will need watering once or twice a day in this weather 💦 If you see any patches like this, there may be less soil or tree roots underneath these areas and therefore less water held below. Soaking with a sprinkler morning and evening is ideal.

This week we have raised the height of our cuts to avoid the lawns burning off and if the heat wave continues we may leave the weekly lawns next week to help them out a bit.

Massive thanks to everyone who has offered and provided us with drinks, ice pops and sun cream this week. It’s been a scorcher but as I’ve told everyone who has said it’s too hot for working, it’s better than the rain which will be here before we know it.

🌱 Business Update 🌱

It’s been a little while since we last posted, so we thought we’d share a quick update.

Firstly, the roller mowers are finally back in action and leaving those crisp stripes we all love to see! 🚜💚

The recent spell of wet weather has unfortunately put us a little behind schedule. As many of our regular customers will know, grass cutting and garden maintenance simply takes longer when conditions are wet, and we’ve been prioritising keeping on top of our regular rounds.

As a result, much of the time we’d usually dedicate to one-off jobs and extra work is currently being used to catch up and get our regular customers back on track.

If you’ve sent us a message recently, thank you for your patience. We’re working through all enquiries this week and will be responding to everyone as soon as possible.

At present we’re working on approximately a 4-week lead time for one-off jobs and additional work, although this may vary depending on weather and workload.

As always, we really appreciate your continued support and understanding. Here’s hoping for some drier weather and plenty more stripes over the coming weeks! ☀️🌱
