At WPL our teams are equipped with the most up-to-date CAD Design and 3D modelling software with BIM Level 2 accreditation which together with many years of experience means that WPL gives clients a first class service. With accreditations for IS09001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, Achilles Building Confidence and approval through Constructionline and CHAS clients can be assured of a very high standard in all aspects of our service from design through to our installation teams who are supervised by a dedicated WPL project manager. At the Runnymede Hotel in Egham, five different WPL UK product types were finished in the same timber-effect powder coat. That included vertical brise soleil, perforated rainscreen, expanded mesh, cladding flashings and column cladding.

Using one finish across the different products helped keep the exterior consistent. All five were manufactured in Bolton.

This one's the AUB Workshops building at Arts University Bournemouth. The rainscreen panels are perforated, but not in a repeating pattern, the positions and hole sizes change across the façade, and that same treatment shows up again on other buildings across campus. Design was by Design Engine Architects, built by Morgan Sindall, we designed and installed the cladding.

At the £30M Lincoln Transport Hub, we did more than clad the building. We manufactured its identity into the facade.

Aluminium perforated panels carry the Hub's own branding, alongside uniquely coloured solar shading aerofoil profiles and decorative mesh. All of it is held on our Alu-Structure range of mullions and transoms, achieving a versatile arrangement of spans with neat connection detail back to the main frame.

It looks like a standard WPL louvre. It is built to stop someone getting through.

Our security range carries its protection out of sight. Across our security-rated louvres and doors we hold SR2, PAS24 and Secured by Design certification, with ironmongery rated to 50,000 cycles. Ideal for substations, secure access and perimeter screening, and visually identical to the rest of a WPL facade. Designed and manufactured in-house, with structural calculations as standard.

We have moved to a larger home in Bolton, and we want to be clear about what that does and does not change.

What is growing: more production capacity, more space, and new jobs for the local economy. What is not: the same team, the same certifications, and the same on-time delivery our clients plan around.
