This week we're giving a high school library in Altrincham a fresh start.

The old floor has been ripped out, a full latex screed is going down, and we'll soon be fitting 400m² of Polyflor Expona Commercial LVT…. Pictures to follow!

Another successful project completed at Rossington All Saints Academy ✔️

Our team recently completed the following flooring installation:

🔹 3mm Polysafe Apex installed to the kitchen area on Polyflor Acoustifoam.
🔹 Polysafe Verona fitted to the toilet areas with fully capped and coved skirting.
🔹 680m² of Polyflor Simplay 19dB Acoustic Flooring installed in the dining hall, laid in a striking herringbone pattern.

A fantastic result that combines durability, safety, and style throughout the school. Great work by the team from start to finish.

🚧 We're Hiring: Experienced Floor Layers (Subcontractors) 🚧

MCT Flooring Ltd is looking for experienced Floor Layers to join our growing team, working on commercial flooring projects across the UK.

📍 Location: Based in Bolton (or within a reasonable travelling distance)
🚗 Travel: UK-wide projects – all expenses covered
💷 Pay: Excellent rates of pay
📅 Work: Flexible, ongoing opportunities across 7 days

What You'll Be Doing:
Installing carpet tiles, LVT, and site-formed vinyl
Completing all aspects of floor preparation
Delivering high-quality finishes on commercial projects

What We Are Looking For:
NVQ Level 2 in Flooring (minimum)
Proven experience in commercial flooring
Valid CSCS card
Full UK driving licence
Own vehicle (must be a van)
Portfolio of previous work (photos)
Two references available on request

What We Offer:
Excellent pay rates
All travel expenses covered
Consistent, ongoing work
Opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects throughout the UK
