It is with great sadness that we have to tell you that Barrie Williamson has passed away recently (on the right of the photo) after retiring in 2008 from the company he helped form with John Periam (left of the photo). Both parties setup the company in 1971 employing over 100 people over the years, and giving many youngsters valuable training to become electricians, a valuable trade.
They have left a legacy with their names being retained and the company is still going strong all these years later employing 20 people supporting many local businesses.
Barrie’s funeral is on Friday at 1.30pm at the Boston crematorium for those wishing to attend.
John sadly passed away in 2020, so now it’s up-to those young people who were given the opportunity here at Periam and Williamson Ltd to keep the name and the company reputation going which has always been good in the business community. Not many companies that have employees for over 40 years service with 3 still at the firm that have over 30 years service each. Showing what a great company both John and Barrie started all those years ago.

Another client adding 55kw to panels we installed 8 years ago, to increase the site yield to over 130kw. Increasing self consumption, running the coldstores and fridge plants as well as the graders and other farm machinery. Another great installation by our solar team at Periam & Williamson Ltd.

We have recently completed a 200kw SMA inverter solar PV system on a factory roof, with 4 wall mounted inverters and 2 floor mounted inverters. All associated mains wiring, new mains, and panel building for monitoring. Another fanstastic installation by our solar team.

Another excellent solar and battery installation carried out by one of our solar teams. A 3 phase Ac coupled inverter with over 17kw of batteries, utilising excess energy from the solar generation during the night times.
Not only reducing the clients bills, but also their carbon footprint.

Again we came together with our employees to say good bye to 2 long serving employees and friends Tim Skinner and David Sharp.

Tim had 43 years of service at Periam & Williamson Ltd, David had 42 years service.

We thank both Tim and David for their service to the company and im sure everyone will wish them both a great retirement.

We recently went to Boston United for a leaving party with the whole company in attendance, and we have a photo of Tim and Dave receiving a signed match ball.

Well done Tim and Dave you will be greatly missed at Periam & Williamson Ltd.

We also welcome Jason Cartwright into the management team at Periam & Williamson Ltd, the company continues with 3 directors, and Jason has been with us for 15 years already and will take over from David as a director. They are literally big shoes to fill.

We are getting half way through a job locally with a good sized PV array, now the cabling and mains work to do. Today we were invited to the Low Carbon Lincolnshire event held at the BUFC. This was an event to exhibit low carbon technolgies and to network with other companies.

We were there to show our installations using GivEnergy solar inverters and batteries, and also showcasing SMA inverter installed systems on a commercial scale.
