(Update as of Monday 22.30)
Outside the YMCA Fairthorne Manor Botley-Curdridge

After the repair was made to the road this evening the whole pipe has burst this time.

Only time will tell how many more times this stretch will fail. This is now the 4th time that I’m aware of.

Watch the video at the end which is when Botley actually flooded!

I’ve spoken to people on site who had just managed to isolate the issue and started to dig the hole back out.
The water board guys and girls have been great and very responsive.

But it really doesn’t help our water bills, or the state of our failing roads.

The road is still closed outside the YMCA Fairthorn and will be for possibly the rest of the week.

The footpath is open and clean.

Full internet controls with weather compensation.
Out with the aging and cobbled together Polypipe and Danfoss controls, in with Drayton Wiser as one complete package.

We’re also fixing & servicing their LG Air con unit, plus a repair on their gas fire.

The client is very excited.
