Safe to say this plastic sink had seen better days. Hard water and old age meant that it had given up the ghost and was leaking in several places.

Replaced with a shiny new stainless steel sink and a new tap. One very happy customer ☺️

Back to the wall tap with no external pipework on show, which not only looks neater but helps protect against frost damage in the winter months. Also installed with an internal isolation valve.

I was called out to water coming through the ceiling at a property earlier this week. Upon inspection I found that the plastic cold water pipe under the bathroom floor had been chewed through by a mouse 🐭 Safe to say it had caused significant damage to the ceiling and floor below. I cut out the damaged section of pipe either side of the joist, and replaced it with copper to prevent mice from causing any future damage.
